5 pupils are invited to apply for the Sutton Trust Summer School at the University of St Andrews. An experience that has been proven to be of great benefit when applying to competitive universities.
This virtual event is free of charge and held each year in order to give pupils in S5 the chance to experience a week in the life of a university student. Young people will engage with two academic areas of interest, take part in social activities and receive advice on UCAS related topics.
Two pupil and parental question and answer sessions have been arranged for those who are interested in applying. They can learn more about the virtual summer school and hear from students who attended last year. Pupils can sign up for these online:
Thursday 18 February 2021, 5pm to 6pm
Tuesday 23 February 2021, 6pm to 7pm
This year, the St Andrews Virtual Sutton Trust Summer School will take place on Monday 5 to Friday 9 July 2021. For information about the summer school, eligibility and how to apply please visit the website.
