Dunoon Grammar School has a very long and distinguished history, gaining its royal charter in 1641. In these many years of growth, the hallmarks of the school have been high standards of academic and personal development. Pupils and Teachers at Dunoon Grammar School have teamed up to produce a fantastic school version of the musical We Will Rock You! The show, renamed as School's Will Rock You for school productions, is based around the smash hits of Queen.
Cast members have been rehearsing non-stop to make sure they are ready for the opening night, which is approaching fast.
The shows runs for four nights starting Monday 11 June until Thursday 14 June 2012, curtains up 7pm. Tickets have been going fast for this marvellous occasion. Mrs K Campbell Teacher of Computing and Show Director commented:
"Cast members have been arranging their own rehearsals out of school time because they are enjoying singing and dancing to the fantastic music of Queen so much! We are just putting the finishing touches to what promises to be a wonderful show. The music of Queen has always been popular with people of all ages. I am confident that our production will be a fantastic success and will have audiences dancing in their seats!"
