Thank you for taking the time to read our S3 Options information and I hope that you find it useful as this is a very important time in the education of your child. In session 2019-2020 your child will study a range of National Qualifications which will help build the foundations towards what will hopefully be a prosperous and successful future.

This section provides descriptors from each of the specific courses available in S4 and you will find these listed in alphabetical order. In S4, the majority of our learners will undertake seven courses over four periods per week and these course will either be from the nine courses studied in S3 or a mixture of these and some of the new ‘Skills for Work’ courses on offer. These new courses can be viewed under the Skills for Work tab on the website. A hard copy of these descriptors are available on request at the school office.
