The Higher History course has been revised by the SQA and as of the 2018-19 session will now be assessed by a pupil assignment along with two separate exams. The units on ‘Britain: 1851–1951’ and ‘Germany: 1815–1939’ will be taught by Miss Harrison and will be assessed in the paper one exam, consisting of two 22 mark essays. The ‘Scottish Wars of Independence’ unit will be taught by Mr Darkins and will be assessed in the paper two exam, consisting of 3 source-based and one knowledge-based question.
