Dunoon Grammar School is a co-educational non-denominational comprehensive school with a roll of 739. It covers all stages from S1 to S6 with a current roll for each year group of :

S3 = 122
S4 = 120

S5 = 132
S6 = 86

In August 2007 Dunoon Grammar School opened for the new school year in a new building. The ground upon which the old building formerly stood has now been flattened and is the site of our all weather astro turf pitches. All the facilities of the building are available for community purposes and letting can be arranged through the Live Argyll.
